where the wild things are

April 15, 2009

bit by bit of many years gone by
remember good old days with a long sigh,
running so hard to win the race
but the winner will always be our age.

the furry puppet showed in the tv
never miss an episode, we all love to see,
but when comes the cookie monster
i close my eyes wait, he’s the one i fear.

there she goes

it actually hurts more than i thought it’ll be
seeing places remind me of you waited for me
driving by that one corner cafe every morning
sticking my neck out to see if you are there smoking

the heartache suddenly hit me out of the blue, caught me off guard, even never had the chance to wave goodbye. i still remember freshly the first time i saw you, was at that very coffee shop as well, with the “lok lok” stall still available and you eating with your manager. another outing was heading to seawind, when you suddenly thought of hanging out at the beach with a drink and some snacks. and so we did, with deep fried wan tans. then came a lunch at “wo sou lou” chicken rice, which we had to endure a freaking bad jam to go, and to drop you back as well. all these are quite clear in my mind as i believe you had a big impact on my life. thank you and too bad :) good night.
