my say

July 28, 2007

The saying, “stop to smell the roses”, I bet most of you guys read it before or some other phrase similiar to such advice in your forwarded emails all the time. But when do any of us actually do it? I bet 1 out of 10 actually do that. And probably that person is not charging like a raging bull in his or her work place, climbing up the corporate ladder. Working hard eaning those whole pile of cash because you need every single thing that shows up in the ad or the famous furniture catalog that’s mailed to your home frequently.

Take a moment from your monitor and your leave your mouse alone, it does not need feeding. And put that keyboard away, it’s not your mouth nor your conversation tool. I am a hypocrite because I am still trying very hard to do all those that I have just mentioned. And I hope all of your would join me in spending some of your time appreciating what you already have and be happy with it. That’s all you need for your regular dosage of being a simple human being, something you do once a while. Don’t have to be everyday. But it’ll be good if we can do it all the time, so you know, we don’t have to worry so much with our credit card bills at the end of the month. Yes, as naive as it may sound, we all have responsiblities, we all have to move ahead, we all gonna start a family soon, and in some case, they already have a famliy of their own.

But I just want to hit that satisfaction note in my life. Just be happy with where I am now, and let my future wife and myself worry about diapers and milk money when the time comes. lol. Cheers!

wake me up when it’s over

July 26, 2007

norah jones sings it right
no lovers on my sight
a womans’ touch i need
her hair i will sniff
faces so close to each other
can hear her heavy breathing
can smell her lip gloss
touch her lips with mine
my hands on her shoulder
hers around my waist
eyes half closed, lips so close…
WAKE UP, IT’S OVER

no end in sight

i wanna hold your hands
pull you from the crowd
tell you the pain i endure
each day without you
days that make me sad
but most of the time,
i smile ’cause i know…
and i remember now,
what it’s like to miss someone…

long for that smile

July 21, 2007

the first thing i noticed from far, was her smile. her smile glows with a blush that makes me smile with her. then came her scent. she said it’s her hand lotion. i think that’s the way she smell all the time. so nice that it’s addictive and want her even more. her eyes, looking straight at me while we talk, makes my heart pound faster by the second. most things i can say easily on the phone, does not come out smoothly in actual confrontation.

now comes the best part. the walking away. as she walk with the steps of a confident lady, she turns her head back to give me a smile. that pulp-fiction-uma’s-hair face looked at me with that blushed smile again. i could easily imagine that moment to be in slow motion as her beautiful hair sway with her face and looks straight at me. no, i don’t think she was looking at the indian security guard at the guard house. the indian was still far away… anyway, that’s the first experience i get closest to a movie scene. i’ll be hoping for a sequel…

it’s like training a buffalo to rollover

…what i wanted to say, no longer lingers in my mind with hatred. it’s easy to forget. it really is.
